About
A lifelong photographer, I started booking
commercial assignments in 2008.
My kids had left the house,
my wife was tired of being my model,
and I needed new subjects. I took classes
at the Emerson Umbrella Center for the Arts in
Concord and at the New England School of Photography
in Boston. I started working for
Marcia Toto
as a wedding second shooter. I signed on as a stringer
for the Sudbury Town Crier and MetroWest Daily News.
And I volunteered to photograph some charity events.
These starting points led me to develop my own wedding
clientele. I also built a practice in event
photography for corporate and non-profit clients.
And along the way
people hired me for head shots, family portraits,
social events, and fundraisers.
I still concentrate on portraits, weddings, and events.

A word about digital rights.
After your photo session,
I will select and edit a subset of images for you.
I will deliver high resolution JPEG files,
probably on USB thumb drive, which
you can deploy for non-commercial uses.
Facebook and Instagram? Yes.
Prints for your personal use or for gifts? Yes.
Your personal website? Yes.
Your company's advertising campaign? No, we would need to
negotiate that and any other commercial uses of the images.
